Hello, Beautiful One!

 Today we will be discussing self-love and the problem that keeps us from manifesting our desires.  I chose this topic for today because I have witnessed a huge need for people, especially women, to want to connect in sisterhood,  heal their wounds, and elevate in mind, body, and soul. 

 

The problem is they are getting stuck. Friend, are you ready for your truth bomb? I know you can handle the truth because I know you are ready to manifest your desires, so here it is. The number one reason keeping you stuck and unable to manifest your dreams and desires is yourself. It is your limiting belief, your old story that plays in your subconscious and conscious mind sabotaging your efforts to get ahead, to start that business or launch that product, lose that weight and keep it off, to find that partner who will love you and honor you. It doesn’t matter if you have the best intentions and best self-care practices because they will not make the impact you need in order to elevate  if you are not digging deep and releasing those old stories. You will not be able to play all out in life; you will stay stuck in fear.

 

 Ask yourself how can you fully love someone else if you are not fully loving and accepting yourself? How can you attract that partner or that relationship that you desire if you have not healed those wounds yet? How can you expect others to honor you if you are not taking the time to take honor yourself the way you should be? How can you have compassion towards another if you are not shining light on your old stories and wounds, and having compassion towards these stories and yourself? How can you elevate if you are holding onto this baggage? How can you live on purpose and live fully in the expression of who you are if these limiting beliefs keep you stuck? How can you exude love and confidence if you are not connected to yourself?

 

 These were all questions I had to look at too and do the inner-work. I still do, many times. I do this when I am unhappy about how someone is treating me. I look at my limiting beliefs when I am unable to step up and reach a goal that I desire. Or when my health is being compromised by stress and overwhelm. I ask myself what is my old story and in what ways am I not honoring myself the way I should be? It is not a one and done kind of deal. It is being willing to look at your stuff whenever necessary and having love and compassion towards yourself in your process of releasing it.

 

Self-love is the only true foundation in which you can build the life you desire upon.

 

To manifest your desires and elevate in mind, body, soul means that you are connecting (or re-connecting) to yourself, you are releasing those old stories, forgiving yourself, having compassion towards yourself and your experiences, honoring yourself in ways that only serve your highest good, and you are reclaiming your worthiness, and taking a stand to passionately love yourself. Be committed to doing the inner-work and loving yourself!

The Ritual & The Experience:

 There are many ways and exercises to begin to heal and foster self-love, but today we will focus on one- a meditation to connect to your heart space to shed light on these old stories and wounds so that you can begin to heal and manifest your desires.

 

 I want you to find a nice, cozy place where you can get comfortable, be in silence as you self-reflect and journey into your heart space. Be sure to grab a pen and print out the worksheets I provided for you in the group’s files. You may even want to grab some soothing herbal tea, like Chamomile, and light some candles, or be outside somewhere you feel comfortable at. 

 

Next, I want you to sit up in a comfortable position, close your eyes, palms facing up to receive energy, and begin to breathe. Start noticing your breath, how it flows in and out. Do this for a few minutes to slow your mind and body down, re-centering, and connecting with your higher self. Then I want you to imagine the crown of your head opening up and a bright light shining down for the heavens and angelic realms coming into the crown of your head. Bring this white light down into your entire body. Now focus on this white light in your heart space or the area where your heart is. Now imagine there is a beautiful pink rose where your heart is. Imagining the rose slowly opening up. Take that pure, white (or the color green, whichever resonates with you), healing light into your heart space. Imagine the light coming out of the flower. Next, imagine that light beaming out of the flower in your heart space and all around you so that you are surrounded by this white light. Don’t worry about doing it wrong; whichever way you imagine this is just fine.

 

Now that your heart space is open, I want you to go through each listed question below one by one. After you ask yourself each question, spend a few minutes meditating on it and listen to what comes up. What is your soul calling for? What is your intuition telling you? Letting go of resistance as it comes up, allowing yourself to dive deep within, and allowing any thoughts and feelings as they come up. 

 

  1. What is my old story that I am releasing?
  2. What am I forgiving myself for so that I can experience true healing?
  3. In what ways have I not been honoring myself? And, in what ways will I honor myself for now on that serve my highest good?
  4. In what ways will I be taking better care of myself daily, weekly, monthly? How does this feel? (imagine yourself doing these activities and practices)
  5. I love myself because…!!! (list as many reasons as you can think of)

Then end the meditation by giving gratitude to your higher power, and yourself!

 

After you complete your meditation, take your worksheets or your journal and write down what came through to you in your meditation. I suggest you then pick a few on your list and make a plan to begin incorporating it into your daily life.
